The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine V. Lytvyn signed the Resolution to cancel the decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on adoption as a basis of the bill to amend the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine regarding offence against honor, dignity and business reputation of a person (11013/П1 of 02.10.2012).
V. Lytvyn informed about this communicating with Facebook users on Wednesday.
Answering the question whether people’s deputies would return to the “bill on libel”, the Head of the Parliament answered: “We cannot return to mistakes. We should draw the right conclusions from them. 10 minutes ago I signed the resolution on exclusion of this item from the legislative base of the Verkhovna Rada.”
